We provide holistic reentry support to justice-involved individuals as they transition back into the community. Our personalized, relationship-based approach focuses on long-term stability and meaningful transformation.
Who We Are
One Hand Helping Another is a non profit 501c3 faith base dedicated reentry program based in Mississippi, serving individuals across Mississippi and four additional states.
What We Do
We provide comprehensive, holistic reentry support by walking alongside justice-involved individuals through every stage of their transition back into the community. Our approach is deeply personalized and relationship-based, ensuring that each participant receives guidance tailored to their unique circumstances, challenges, and goals.
From helping individuals access stable housing, meaningful employment, and educational opportunities, to providing life skills coaching, transportation support, and connections to mental health and treatment services, we are committed to addressing both practical and emotional needs.

Employment, Housing & Education Connections
Support accessing job opportunities, stable housing, and educational or vocational pathways.
Transportation & Documentation Assistance
Help obtaining identification, transportation access, and essential documents needed for reintegration.
Mental Health & Treatment Referrals
Connections to counseling, substance use treatment, and behavioral health services when needed.
Our Collaborative Approach
Through partnerships with employers, churches, community agencies, and justice system stakeholders, we work to reduce barriers, lower recidivism, and promote lasting transformation — not temporary fixes.
